When couples start planning a wedding for Rumson, food is one of the first decisions that feels personal. It is not just about what appears on a menu. It is about how the day moves, how guests feel, and how the experience reflects who you are as a couple.
Rumson brides often choose Willow & Sage Catering because of customizable wedding menus, flexible reception styles, and a clear planning process that begins with a consultation and tasting. Seasonal modern American cuisine, dietary accommodations, and coordinated service help ensure the food, timing, and guest experience align smoothly throughout the wedding day.
At Willow & Sage Catering, we work with Rumson couples who value thoughtful food, clear communication, and a team that understands how a wedding day truly works. From the first tasting to the final plate served, our role is to make the experience feel intentional and well supported.
Menus That Reflect Your Taste and Your Guests
No two weddings feel the same, which is why our menus are fully customizable. We focus on modern American cuisine using fresh, seasonal ingredients, with options that adjust to your preferences and your guest list.
Brides often appreciate that we accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free needs without disrupting the overall menu. Plated dinners and interactive stations are both popular choices. One guest favorite is our carving station, where selections like short ribs or filet mignon are prepared and served with care during the reception.
Catering Service Styles That Match Your Plans
Cocktail hour, entrances, speeches, dinner, and dancing all rely on good timing. We offer several reception styles, including buffet service, plated dinners, and station style receptions, allowing you to choose what works best for your space and your plans.
Our professional service staff manages setup, service, and breakdown so you are not handling logistics on your wedding day. Couples often tell us that having a clear service plan allows them to relax and stay present throughout the celebration.
A Planning Process That Keeps Things Clear
From the start, we prioritize communication. Your planning begins with an initial consultation and tasting, where we talk through menu ideas and event details. Tastings give you the chance to experience the food and refine choices before anything is finalized.
After that, you receive a personalized proposal through our online dashboard. This keeps menu selections, notes, and updates organized in one place. During the planning phase, we also assist with timelines, layout considerations, and catering logistics so everything feels prepared well ahead of the wedding day.
Experience Across Rumson and Beyond
We are based at 36 Bingham Avenue in Rumson, New Jersey, and provide full-service wedding catering throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Many of our couples come from Rumson, Little Silver, Fair Haven, and throughout Monmouth County.
Much of our work comes through venue partnerships, which means our team is comfortable working in a wide range of spaces and layouts. For couples still choosing a venue, we are happy to share partner locations listed on our site.
Bar Service and Event Details Made Simple
Alcohol is ordered and paid for by the couple, with bartenders available upon request. We recommend one bartender for every fifty guests to keep service moving smoothly. Non alcoholic bar setups include juices, sodas, mixers, and essential bar equipment, depending on your event needs.
For couples who want additional event support, rental enhancements are available. Options include specialty china, flatware, linens, cocktail lounges, portable bars, tenting, flooring, florals, and restroom trailers. These selections are optional and chosen based on your needs.
