When it comes to weddings, we believe the meal should feel like more than a menu. It should reflect the couple’s story. At Willow & Sage Catering, we create custom wedding menus that feel personal, taste incredible, and leave guests talking long after the last course.
We’ve catered weddings across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, but Rumson is where we call home. Every event begins with a conversation about your vision, what you love to eat, the mood you want to set, and how you want your guests to feel. From there, our culinary team and planners bring it all together with care and precision.
Custom wedding menus in NJ create lasting guest memories by reflecting the couple’s unique story and preferences. With personalized dishes made from fresh, seasonal ingredients, and attentive service, these menus ensure an unforgettable dining experience. The carefully crafted food, paired with thoughtful event planning, leaves a lasting impression on guests long after the celebration.
A Menu That Reflects Your Story
No two couples are alike, and neither are their menus. Some prefer an elegant plated dinner with short ribs and roasted carrot Wellington, while others love the energy of stations like our craft taco bar or Asian wok. Every dish is made from fresh, seasonal ingredients, and we happily accommodate dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free.
Our chefs take inspiration from local farms and global flavors, so whether you envision modern American cuisine or something more eclectic, your menu will be both thoughtful and delicious.
Smooth Service, Start to Finish
Our planning process is as personal as our food. We start with a tasting, where you can sample menu options and discuss presentation ideas. Once your selections are made, we build a detailed proposal through our online dashboard so you can track every part of your event.
On the wedding day, our hospitality team manages everything behind the scenes. From the moment cocktail hour begins, complete with hors d’oeuvres like bacon-wrapped scallops or mini lobster mac and cheese, to the final coffee service, every guest is cared for.
More Than Catering
We don’t just cook; we help shape the experience. Our rentals include specialty china, farmhouse tables, and lounge furniture that complement your style. Need florals, lighting, or bar setups? Our team handles those details, too. Each element works together to create a cohesive, welcoming atmosphere.
While we don’t supply alcohol directly, we coordinate with trusted vendors like George’s Wine & Spirits and can provide professional bartenders, typically one for every fifty guests. It’s all designed to keep service smooth and stress-free.
Why Custom Menus Matter
A custom menu turns a wedding into something that feels uniquely yours. Guests remember the warmth of shared flavors and the flow of the evening just as much as the decor or the music. When food and service are intentionally crafted, it sets the tone for everything else.
That’s why every menu we design starts with you, your tastes, your traditions, and your style.
Let’s Begin Planning
At Willow & Sage Catering, we believe food should feel personal, not predictable. From the first tasting to the final toast, our team is here to bring your vision to life with care, creativity, and flavor that your guests will remember.
