There’s something timeless about a spring wedding and Emily & Sean’s day at The Conservatory was the perfect mix of classic style and easygoing celebration. We were so honored to be part of their Conservatory wedding catering team. Their May 23 wedding was filled with thoughtful details, an incredible vendor crew, and a menu that had guests raving long after the cake was cut.
The Conservatory is a dream for couples who want the feel of an outdoor wedding with the comfort of an indoor space. Natural light flooded the ceremony space while the lush greenery outside made the entire day feel romantic and relaxed. Emily & Sean’s color palette of deep greens and crisp whites paired perfectly with the venue’s natural beauty. Their Polaroid-adorned cake topper was the perfect “them” detail!
Emily & Sean’s menu was packed with crowd-pleasers and unexpected favorites. Their cocktail hour was a hit! Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres like crab cakes, black angus sliders, and lobster mac & cheese bites. We also set up a cold display filled with antipasto, cheese boards and seasonal fruits. It was the perfect way to kick off the celebration!
For dinner, the couple chose two main stations: the “New York Steak House” and “Little Italy”. These different styles offered guests a mix of classic comfort and bold flavor. The Steak House station featured eight-hour braised short ribs in a merlot reduction and Mediterranean spiced leg of lamb with tzatziki. These dishes were served alongside garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, caramelized onions, and sautéed mushrooms.
The Little Italy station brought a cozy vibe with dishes like chicken Tuscany, eggplant rollatini, and a standout Frutti di Mare over pesto linguine. Guests also enjoyed a separate pasta station with penne alla vodka, five cheese tortelloni in pesto cream, and our signature rigatoni Bolognese.
And of course, dessert didn’t disappoint! Along with a custom wedding cake, guests enjoyed passed mini desserts like tiramisu, cheesecake lollipops, and warm chocolate chip cookies paired with mini milk shots.
We were honored to help bring Emily & Sean’s Conservatory wedding catering to life with care and of course, delicious food. Our team had the pleasure of not just serving their guests, but being part of the experience. And that’s what we love most: helping couples create moments that feel effortless, intentional, and fun.
